About Mist Drift (Veil of Presence)

A central figure emerges from swirling layers of illuminated mist, its boundaries gently obscured yet defined enough to suggest presence without solidity. Iridescent cyan dominates, with flickers of amber threading through the vapor, creating a visual tension where form hovers at the edge of dissolution. The scene holds a tranquil suspense, as if caught in a moment just before metamorphosis.

From the collection — ‘Threshold Vessel’ presents a series of bodies rendered in spectral substance—glass-like, mist-woven, and glimmering with threads of synthetic light. Each work invites the viewer to witness presence as a phenomenon defined by material permeability, where the limits of form shimmer, blur, and invite new ways of seeing what it means to appear.

Artist Statement

I orchestrate the unseen harmonies that ripple through bodies and space. My compositions are diagrams of resonance—human figuration reframed by waves, halos, and filaments of sound made visible.

Process

I begin with one pose and a frequency to run through it, then generate in long passes, letting rings, filaments and interference build over the figure until figure and wave cannot be separated. Curation is closer to a listening test than a looking one. A piece passes when the body stays legible while the wave carries it, and when every part of the field is still moving. I discard anything that hardens: a figure sealed off from its own resonance, a glow sitting on the surface instead of travelling through it, a composition that has stopped oscillating and become matter.
